Bullying from the view of teachers and pupils in the chosen basic school

Title: Bullying from the viewpoint of teachers and students at the selected elementary school. Abstract: This paper presents views and observations on the subject of bullying from the viewpoint of teachers and students of the second level of a selected elementary school in Prague 6. The theoretical section contains definition of basic terms. Organisation of the selected school in Prague 6 is described. Research forms a major part of the Thesis. Surveys were carried out by means of questionnaires, observations and interviews. Results show a positive climate at the school created by teachers. Agressive behaviour is not overlooked and is dealt with by each teacher individually. The elementary school cooperates with a citizens group Prev-centrum which prepares preventive programs for individual classes. Bullying does take place at the school but at a much lower level than presented by media and what is common at some other elementary schools. This thesis deals with bullying in secondary school level, more precisely at selected secondary schools and their approach to solving this pathological social phenomenon. The work is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the various stages and types of bullying, as well as partial steps in the solution to ensure the best possible protection of individuals against this problem. The methods used in the theoretical part are the study of professional literature sources, creation of extracts and their analysis, synthesis and comparison. The research is based on monitoring procedures for dealing with bullying at selected secondary schools. Its aim is to identify ways and methods of solving this problem. Investigations will be conducted at selected secondary schools of the South Moravian Region via questionnaire with teachers. Work provides information on ways to address bullying in middle level education. The recommendations for practice will be formulated ground the found results.
Competence of teachers to deal bullying

Competence of teachers for dealing with bullying are from the areas of theoretical knowledge of bullying, its origin and evolution. Furthermore, practical skills in the areas of prevention and dealing with bullying. The is information drawn from scientific literature mainly written by czech authors, who base thein experties on doctor Kolar's theory of bullying. The work may serve as a source of information about the competencies of teachers for dealing with bullying and the teachers can attain competency.
Expert teachers perspective on bullying and disturbed relationships in the classroom

This thesis focuses on the view of experienced teachers on bullying and disturbed relationships in the classroom. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of bullying and its typical characters. It defines the main protagonists of bullying. It also describes the procedures for dealing with bullying, investigation, intervention and prevention. The theoretical part also describes the role of the teacher, the definition of his profession and experiences. The empirical part presents a subjective view of experienced teachers on bullying and disturbed relationships in the classroom. It focuses on their personal experience with the phenomenon. It maps the tools and strategies that experienced teachers use to dealing with bullying and its prevention.

Bullying at Secondery School - Possibilities of its Solving and Prevention

Annotation The bachelor´s thesis 'School bullying at secondary schools ? possibilities of strategies to reduce school bullying and prevention' is aimed at school bullying, teachers´attitude to school bullying while solving this pathological problem. This thesis is divided into three sections in accordance with its content. The theoretical part is focused on school bullying, types of school bullying, solving the problems and prevention possibilities. Recognizing of school bullying appearance and its solving at secondary schools is described in the practical part of the thesis.
